The Scientific-Technical Services UB (SCT-UB, Serveis Cientificotècnics UB) are a facility of the University of Barcelona designed for providing support to research in a coordinated and integral way. They are at the service of this organism, other public institutions and private firms within the frame of those agreements which may be established by the University of Barcelona.

The Scientific-Technical Services (SCT-UB) have been recently granted full certification to ISO 9001:2008 []. The SCT-UB are also an acknowledged laboratory Register of Agroalimentary Laboratories of Catalonia and belong to the IT Technological Innovation Network promoted by the Centre for Innovation and Business Development (CIDEM) of the Catalan Government being the SCT a certified centre [].
